Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 1,303 new cases of COVID-19 with 15 more deaths, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The disease control agency announced this on Monday night in a tweet.
To date, 124,299 cases have been confirmed, 99,276 cases discharged and 1522 deaths recorded across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to latest report from an official sources on Tuesday, the novel coronavirus has killed at least 2,140,687 people since the outbreak emerged in China in December 2019.
At least 99,631,810 cases of coronavirus have been registered. Of these, at least 60,485,100 are now considered recovered.
