PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded the name of his Special Assistant, Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, to the Senate for Screening and subsequent confirmation, as a National Commissioner for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC representing Delta State.
President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan on Tuesday read the letter from President Buhari on the floor of the senate.
Other names forwarded for confirmation are:
1. Prof. Muhaamad Sani – Katsina State
2. Kunle Cornelius Ajayi – Ekiti State
3. Seidu Ahmad – Jigawa State
