The Desert foxes of Algeria has beaten the Super Eagles of Nigeria with a lone goal in Friday’s international friendly in Austria.
Defender Bensebaini Rami secured a win for Algeria with an early goal at the 6th minute of the game.
Rami gave a quick header which came off his own player from a corner-kick to slam into the net.
Nigerian Coach Gernot Rohr said in his tweeter handle after the match:
“This is a very good test for us. There are positives to pick from a tough game like this. Now we have to recover well and start to plan for the next game on Tuesday against another tough team.”
The Super Eagles will take on Tunisia in their next international friendly on Tuesday at the Jacques Lemmans Arena.
